Yesenia Reyes

Born in Brooklyn, New York and currently residing in Puerto Rico I am a Teacher with 15 years of classroom experience and 2 years of experience in a therapeutic setting. Science and Education BA in Communication problems and MA in Transition to Adult living. For the last 10 years I have specialized in teaching students on the Autism Spectrum within the ages of 5 to 21 years. During the pandemic, individualized online classes to ASD level 2 students successfully, empowering students and parents while obtaining measurable success in Life Skills acquisition. Currently provide support to families with children on the spectrum that have opted to Homeschool their child by creating custom lesson plans that meet the student's needs and comply with State common core standards. I believe that every child has the right to discover their hidden potential and grow into it confidently with support from their family, teachers and community.
