Hello everyone, my name is Cara Marino, I have a Master’s in Occupational Therapy and a Bachelor’s in Behavioral Health Sciences. During the trauma of COVID-19 as a healthcare professional in a skilled nursing facility I became a holistic herbalist in January 2021 in order to increase education to the community about the benefits of herbal medicine. I founded my business Green Enchantments, LLC where I handcraft 100% of all the herbal remedies to benefit people’s quality of life and daily functional performance. Though my passion is creating holistic medicine, my greatest goal is to outreach to our communities in understanding the actual concepts of what health is due to pop culture and western medicine having segmented and inconsistent perceptions that keep us from progressing towards a healthy lifestyle. I specifically focus on adults 18 years of age and older, but can work with parents who oversee the health of their younger teens between 13-17 years of age. Some health examples include: Hashimoto's disease, fibromyalgia, anxiety, depression, ADHD, Sjogren’s syndrome, sleep disturbances, arthritis, fatigue, PMS/menopause, and various cancers. We bridge the concepts with allopathic education about illness/injury/disease, but under the guided safety of holistic services to reduce the risk or exacerbation for illness or injury. Our classes will focus on understanding the foundation of health from the physical, emotional, and spiritual well being that can further be developed into more specific courses on various types of health concerns (i.e. Hormonal imbalances) based on your feedback. I am looking forward to creating rapport through my tutoring sessions for all of us to live a fulfilling life!
