Greetings,

My name is Ms. Tara Armwood, a 36 year teaching veteran. I am certified in grades K - 6, spending the majority of my career in grades 4 - 5. For the past six years I have had the pleasure of working with the Academically and Intellectually Gifted population. Lower grade learners (K - 3) are exposed to lessons that fosters diagnostic thinking skills through systematic enrichment. Learners in upper grades (4 - 6) delve deeper into areas of language arts and mathematics to increase their ways of thinking about various topics. Identified gifted learners and potential gifted learners benefit from possibilities to go beyond the classroom to pursue avenues of higher learning and thinking.
