Beginning Filmmaking

Service Description

In the Beginning Film making class, we will learn how to make a short narrative film, with at least two characters, spoken dialogue, and a beginning, middle and end. Students will start with an idea, and write a script. They will then cast actors and shoot their short film, using their phone camera or another camera. Students will edit the short film and show it in class. We will also study about the roles of producers, directors, screenwriters, cinematographers and actors, and other film technicians. We will watch short films to enjoy and learn from them, and watch some videos to learn basic film making techniques. The goal of the class is to learn, to have fun and to make a movie.
