ENGLISH

One of the truly beautiful things about languages is that they have rich and some times surprising histories. Again, language identifies human beings and gives them a sense of belonging.

My Name is Naomi Ndung'u, I am a lover of languages and native of Swahili language.

My country of origin is Kenya. I have a Bachelor's of Education in Kiswahili language and  Christian Religious Studies from  St Mary's University of Minnesota, which had its campus known as Christ the Teacher Institute of Education in Nairobi÷Kenya.

I have vast knowledge and experience of Kiswahili language. I taught in Kenyan schools for over ten years, both in  primary and secondary schools. I now live in USA, Texas State with my family.

Kiswahili language better known as Swahili is a very interesting language with a rich history. There is wide debate on the historical and linguistic circumstances regarding its birth.

It is an African language of the Bantu group of people. Its place of origin is along the Eastern coast of Africa. I therefore invite you to join my lessons and learn the beauty of Kiswahili language and the Swahili culture.

I will take you through grammar, reading, writing, speaking, social linguistics, Kiswahili literature and much more for academic and social purposes. You are all Welcome!
